Paint Preparation (Wood & Aluminum)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately read and follow production paperwork
• Prepare aluminum and wood products for paints and stains
• Able to apply finishes for both wood and aluminum
• May be required to spray latex or enamel finishes onto products
• Ability to mix paint using solutions such as a catalyst

Skills and Experience:

• Paint experience, specifically painting doors an asset
• Must be able to operate all of the following equipment efficiently and safely: Table saw, band saw, mitre saw, nail guns, staple guns, feed spray guns, impact drills, hand tools and use of a tape measure.
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to solve problems and look for creative solutions
