The Robotics Technician is responsible for all aspects of the successful operation of the Robotic Line. This crucial line is an especially important department within the bakery and using robotic and leadership skills, produces high quality items.

Job Duties

The Robotics Technician is responsible for the Robotic Decorator Line and will:

• Use design software to set up the robot.
• Performing technical set-ups and modifications to the machine.
• Build or assemble robotic devices or systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC's and robot programming.
• Modify computer-controlled robot movements.
• Maintain inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables.
• Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.
• Troubleshooting the pneumatic system.
• Perform a check on heat and pressure.
• Train people on how to work on the robot team
• Ensure production and quality goals are met.
• Perform some general and preventative maintenance for smooth machine operation as required

Health and Safety

• Initiate safety concerns and makes judgment on the best methods of completing tasks
• Perform regular workplace inspections to determine areas that need maintenance or repair
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Responsible for all Lockout Procedures, and training of employees on procedures

Administrative

• Maintain adequate supplies for the Robotic department
• Complete all necessary reports and records related to the department as required
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on the robot maintenance procedures
• Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
• Any other duties as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.88 per hour
